As part of Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ and Borderlands Theater, Bravo Theater produces EL VAGON in Spanish to standing ovation each night. Guillermo Reyes, the director of the production, does a wonderful job in creating the suffocating atmosphere of men trapped in a boxcar. After two of the performances Silvia Gonzalez S. discussed the play with members of the audience and answered questions. Coincidentally, the play coincided with the largest march for immigrant rights in Phoenix's history. In the current climate of immigration reform, Teatro Del Piel will bring the well-directed play of Teatro Bravo's EL VAGON to Reno. The play is also sponsored by The Latino Research Center, The Ethnic Studies Board, The International Resource Center, MEChA, Las Americans, and P.L.A.N. (Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada), and REVISTA QUE ONDA. Playwright plans to attend the production.
